About Dulce Rico, CCHW

 As a Community Liaison with South Carolina Hispanic Outreach and a Certified Community Health Worker (CHW), I am driven by a passion for improving the health and well-being of underserved communities. My role focuses on educating community members about healthy living and providing vital preventive services, including HIV, cholesterol, and glucose testing, to ensure that individuals have the resources and knowledge they need to lead healthier lives.

In addition to managing the HIV Program, I ensure that individuals receive not only testing but also the necessary support and care resources. With my certification as an HIV tester, I am committed to delivering compassionate, professional care to those who rely on these services.

I also manage and operate a community food bank in Columbia, where I work tirelessly to provide essential food resources to families in need. My dedication to community service and health advocacy fuels my efforts to make a lasting impact on the lives of the people I serve each and every day.
